AGENDA

1. Season length and dates
   1. Starts Oct 7^th
   2. Season possibly ends Mar 31^st 2026 with playoffs included
   3. Christmas Break 18^th Dec- 5^th Jan 2026
2. Season Format
   1. Team declaration if there is a need. Four competitive teams required for a competitive season.
   2. Regular season champion or Playoffs (vote).
3. Field times
   1. Review (2 soccer fields available, 8 game slots per week or more)
   2. Mon - Thurs. - 7pm, 8pm and the usual 9pm and 10 pm games
   3. Playing time will be 2*25mns halves
4. Fees - Mostly by EMT. Please send to the yannisvolos50@gmail.com address only.
   1. $250 deposit due Mon, Sept 22^nd (this is also the performance bond for the year)
   2. Team fee is $4000 based on 10 possible teams,
   3. Total per team = $4250 due Mon, Sept 29^th. NOTE: If not paid then the game schedule will not put the team on the schedule.
5. Rules and Rules Clinic - FIFA/IFAB rules; less than 4 players = forfeit;
   1. Goalie helds ball more than 8 sec in penalty area, rewards other team a corner kick.
   2. Gender rule reminder (2 per team)
   3. No limit of players per team for every game
   4. Indoor rules of the game - updated- to be sent to captains

   1. Game scheduler $900
   2. Referee assignor $900
7. Uniforms
   1. Colours- After registering your team please email Yannis your team colors to prevent duplicates and so the referees can prepare uniform accordingly

9. Team with more than 5 players (16-18) must have a coach or adult over 21 yrs to participate in our adult league
10. Discussions:
    1. Every team must provide a member to attend referee clinic beginning of Oct. The ref must remain active during the indoor season. The only way for a team to participate in the league as we are left with 3 refs.
    2. Game Play/Referees- there will be no boarding (automatic red card); reminder for good sportsmanship.
    3. Adding players to Roster- make sure added prior to the game; if added the same day then please let Yannis know via email so he can notify the referees to print an updated game sheet. If player is not on the roster, then they don’t play.
    4. Forfeits- city requires 4 day notice otherwise the league incurs a penalty which will translate to the teams ($70 per forfeit). Therefor the league will require 5 days notice to prevent penalizing the forfeiting team.
    5. Team Bonds- If you team bond depletes because of penalties then your team will be unable to play until the bond is replenished.

*Reminder - For the indoor season, no team may field more than two thirds of players of the same gender. Must always have 2 males or females on the field at any time

*Reminder - player transfer deadline is Nov 30^th; must be requested through the YKASL Board.
