NWT Soccer is excited to welcome Bronwyn Rutherford-Simon as our new Executive Director starting Monday, September 8th.

Born and raised in Fort Smith, Bronwyn is a proud Métis leader with deep roots in the North. A lifelong athlete and coach, she has represented the NWT at multiple national and international events, including the Canada Summer Games, NAIG, and the Arctic Winter Games. She is currently an Apprentice Coach with the Men’s Soccer team for the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University and experience working with MACA in sport and recreation, Bronwyn brings strong leadership, organizational, and community engagement skills to this role.

We are thrilled to have her join NWT Soccer and look forward to the energy and vision she will bring to supporting athletes, coaches, and communities across the territory.
