WELCOME TO THE TEAM

On behalf of NWT Soccer, we're excited to introduce Melanie Thompson as the incoming Executive Director of NWT Soccer. With over two decades of experience collaborating with Provincial/Territorial Sport Organizations (PTSOs), Sport North, and municipal/local community sport organizations, Melanie brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Her established track record with NWT Soccer and recent role as Executive Director at Alberta Artistic Swimming underscore her exceptional leadership capabilities and results-oriented approach.

Having been an integral part of the NWT Soccer journey since 2009, Melanie's familiarity with our organization is a tremendous asset. Her proactive engagement with PTSOs showcases her ability to foster meaningful partnerships and drive impactful initiatives. Melanie's leadership qualities have shone through in her previous roles, where she has navigated diverse sports landscapes with poise and determination.

As Melanie takes the reins as Executive Director, we look forward to a fresh perspective she'll bring to our soccer community. Her deep-rooted understanding of our organization, combined with her proven leadership skills, positions her to steer NWT Soccer toward new heights of success.
