YELLOWKNIFE ADULT SOCCER LEAGUE
 Indoor league 2022/23 Captain’s meeting

AGENDA

1. Season length and dates
   1. Starts Sept 21^st 2022
   2. Season possibly ends Mar 10^th  2023
   3. Christmas Break 21^st Dec- 4^th Jan 2023
   4. Possible Cup competitionin end Mar-April 2023
2. Season Format
   1. Team declaration if there is a need. Four competitive teams required for a competitive season.
   2. Regular season champion or Playoffs (vote).
3. Field times
   1. Review (2 soccer fields available, 10 games per week or more)
   2. Mon - Thurs. – 9pm and 10 pm games
   3. Fri – 8pm if needed
   4. Playing time will be 2*25mns halves
4. Fees – there is now EMT. Please send to the gmail address only.
   1. $250 deposit due Fri, Sept 9^th (this is also the performance bond for the year)
   2. Team fee is $3700 based on 10 possible subsidy $100 per team
   3. Total per team = $3700 due Fri, Sept 16^th (cheque made out to “YK Adult Soccer League”). NOTE: If not paid then the game schedule will not put the team on the schedule.

1. Rules and Rules Clinic – FIFA/IFAB rules; less than 4 players = forfeit;
   1. Gender rule reminder (2 per team)
   2. No limit of players per team for every game
   3. Indoor rules of the game - updated- to be sent to captains
   4. District Referee clinic mandatory for adults  from every team 9-11 Sept  
2. Job opportunities – applications due Sept 16^th   
   1. Game scheduler $850
   2. Referee assignor $850
3. Uniforms
   1. Colours- After registering your team please email Yannis your team colors to prevent duplicates and so the referees can prepare uniform accordingly

5. Team with more than 5 players (16-18) must have a coach or adult over 21 yrs to participate in our adult league
6. Discussions:
   1. Game Play/Referees- there will be no boarding (automatic red card); reminder for good sportsmanship.
   2. Adding players to Roster- make sure added prior to the game; if added the same day then please let Yannis know via email so he can notify the referees to print an updated game sheet. If player is not on the roster, then they don’t play.
   3. Forfeits- city requires 4 day notice otherwise the league incurs a penalty which will translate to the teams ($70 per forfeit). Therefor the league will require 5 days notice to prevent penalizing the forfeiting team.
   4. Team Bonds- If you team bond depletes because of penalties then your team will be unable to play until the bond is replenished.
